The Coalition
The Mainers United for Marriage Coalition is a broad coalition of groups and people working to win the freedom to marry for same-sex couples in Maine. We are united in our belief that marriage matters to the thousands of same-sex couples who call Maine home. We are united in our belief that allowing marriage licenses for same-sex couples strengthens families and strengthens the state we love. And, we are united in our hope that the people of Maine will join us in supporting the freedom to marry for all of Maine’s loving, committed same-sex couples.
